A big gray Tom cat sneaked up behind the brown sparrow and said,    

"I can eat five of you in a day.   I think I will eat you."

  The brown sparrow said,

"Let's play a game first.   Close your eyes and count to ten.   I'll hide and if you find me, you can eat me."

The big gray Tom cat closed his eyes and started counting.

The brown sparrow flew up to his brown nest in the top of the rose bush.    

The big gray Tom cat opened his eyes, but he could not see the brown sparrow lying in his brown nest in the top of the rose bush.
